After Sharing Senses with the Paranoid CEO, the Infamous Starlet was Forced into Pampering Chapter 38
Chapter 38: White Makes It Look Bigger
The next morning, Xia Mu woke up from the heat. He rubbed his head, pushing his messy bangs up, and groggily opened his eyes, only to find himself lying in Li Yan’s embrace, his waist tightly encircled by the man’s arm.
His left side was pressed against the wall, his right side was held by Li Yan, and on top of that, it was morning, and his body was feeling faintly… off. Xia Mu jolted wide awake.
He carefully and gently lifted Li Yan’s arm from his waist, inching outward bit by bit. When he finally broke free of Li Yan’s hold, Xia Mu breathed a sigh of relief. Thank goodness the man was a heavy sleeper.
But where did his pants go?
Xia Mu stood on the bed, looking around for his pajama pants, silently screaming as he gripped his hair.
Could he have taken them off while sleepwalking?
That wasn’t right. Where did he take them off? Why weren’t they on the floor either?
Could it be… Xia Mu looked down at the soundly sleeping Li Yan at his feet. When he fell asleep last night, it seemed the man hadn’t slept yet. Could it really have been him?
Xia Mu patted his own backside. It didn’t feel like anything was wrong, and his underwear was still on.
Xia Mu simply couldn’t figure it out, but taking advantage of the fact that Li Yan wasn’t awake yet, he needed to quickly head to the bathroom to take care of his morning wood. Even though they were both men, if Li Yan saw it later, Xia Mu would still feel ashamed.
As Xia Mu carefully and cautiously stepped over Li Yan, Li Yanzhou slowly opened his eyes. Watching Xia Mu’s panicked, fleeing back, he let out a soft chuckle.
Li Yanzhou had been awake from the moment Xia Mu first opened his eyes. He wanted to know what Xia Mu was planning to do, so he had continued to pretend to sleep.
However, upon feeling the anomaly in his body, Li Yanzhou knew exactly what Xia Mu was doing.
Li Yanzhou threw off the quilt and sat up, leaning against the headboard. Because of their shared senses, Xia Mu’s every action was crystal clear to him.
Besides, it was morning, and having a reaction was completely normal. It was just that Xia Mu was too shy and had fled to the bathroom to handle it.
Xia Mu simply turned on the shower, letting the warm water wash over his body as he washed and stroked. Li Yanzhou closed his eyes, experiencing the various shifting sensations of pleasure that Xia Mu was feeling.
After nearly twenty minutes had passed, Xia Mu put his pajama shirt back on and stealthily moved back to the bedroom. He had searched the entire bathroom for his pajama pants but still couldn’t find them, so he had no choice but to come back.
But when Xia Mu pushed open the door, he watched helplessly as Li Yan did exactly what he had just done in the bathroom. Startled, Xia Mu covered his eyes and shrieked:
“Ah—!”
Xia Mu spun around to put his back to the bed, his voice full of shame and indignation:
“Y-You, you have no shame!!”
“Why didn’t you say something before doing that kind of thing?”
“I-Isn’t this an extremely private matter?”
“I feel like my eyes have been violated.”
Xia Mu wanted to cry but had no tears, completely forgetting that he was also only wearing a pair of underwear on his lower half.
“Xia Mu, it’s morning. Isn’t this perfectly normal for men?”
“This is my bed, so naturally I can do whatever I want.”
“Besides, I’m just doing what you already did.”
“Otherwise, why don’t you tell me… what were you doing in the bathroom?”
Li Yanzhou fired back sentence by sentence as well, though his originally deep voice was laced with a slight panting, making it sound even more sexy.
“How did you know?” Xia Mu blurted out.
The moment he said it, he regretted it. Wasn’t this clearly a confession without duress?
“I saw you when you climbed over me.” Li Yanzhou had no intention of hiding it either. “Mhm… white really suits you, it certainly makes it look bigger.”
Xia Mu took a deep breath, tugging the hem of his pajama shirt down to cover himself, and muttered a curse: “Pervert!”
Li Yanzhou didn’t speak again. The room fell dead silent—so quiet that Xia Mu could even hear those ambiguous sounds. Xia Mu could no longer stand by the door. He wanted to flee, but a sense of resignation washed over him:
If Li Yan didn’t find it humiliating, why should he feel embarrassed for him?
Harboring this thought, Xia Mu forced himself to stand by the bedroom door for over ten minutes. Li Yanzhou had absolutely no intention of suppressing his panting. He looked up at Xia Mu’s blood-red ears, his lips hooking up in an involuntary smile.
Sensing that the movements had seemed to stop, Xia Mu asked tentatively:
“Are you done yet?”
“Done.” Li Yanzhou’s husky voice sounded like he was in a good mood. “But I forgot something.”
“Say it.” Xia Mu tried to calm his racing heart, doing his best to make his voice sound steady.
“The tissue box is in the living room. Go grab one for me.”
“You—!” Xia Mu was just about to curse him out, but remembering that aside from his habit of teasing him, Li Yan was actually quite good to him, he held back and let it go. He went out to the living room to grab the tissues for Li Yan.
Li Yanzhou watched his figure—looking ready to swear—along with those long, straight legs, and leisurely stuffed the tissue box and wet wipes sitting on the bedside table into the drawer.
Covering his eyes, Xia Mu fumbled his way through the door with one hand. After handing the wet wipes to Li Yan, he slowly turned back around to leave:
“Call me when you’re done wiping.”
Li Yanzhou pulled out a few tissues, his movements unhurried, his tone full of laughter:
“Done.”
Only then did Xia Mu dare to turn around. But given how Li Yan always loved tricking him, Xia Mu peeked through a crack in his fingers, only to meet Li Yan’s teasing gaze:
“We both have the same equipment, so why are you so shy? Why don’t you dare look?”
“It’s not the same.” Xia Mu retorted.
“Isn’t it just a difference in size and color?”
Hearing Li Yan speak so bluntly, Xia Mu sputtered “you…” for a long time but couldn’t force out a single sentence.
“Wait a minute! Where are my pajama pants? Did you take them off?” Xia Mu finally found his righteous indignation.
“Xia Mu, your skill at falsely accusing people is getting better and better,” Li Yanzhou said without a change in expression.
“Then where did they go?”
“Who knows, maybe you took them off yourself while sleepwalking?”
Seeing Li Yan stubbornly refusing to budge, Xia Mu felt there was no point in arguing further.
He grabbed his clothes from the wardrobe, sat on the sofa to dress, and then glanced at Li Yan, who was still leaning against the pillows.
“You keep sleeping. I’m heading back to the company first.”
“Wait. Qin Yu is in the living room; let him drop you off,” Li Yanzhou said, throwing on his coat.
“Then I’ll have to trouble him.” Xia Mu habitually put on his mask and baseball cap to avoid being recognized.
Just as Li Yan said, Qin Yu was already waiting. Upon seeing Xia Mu, Qin Yu was polite as always:
“Mr. Xia, good morning.”
“Didn’t I say to just call me Xia Mu? ‘Mr. Xia’ always feels a bit awkward, and it makes us sound much too distant.”
Xia Mu gave Qin Yu a smile.
“Alright then, Xia Mu, shall we head out now?” Qin Yu smiled warmly in return.
The hotel wasn’t exactly close to the company; it took nearly half an hour to arrive. Xia Mu had informed Xu Wenyi in advance.
Worried about Xia Mu, Xu Wenyi and an assistant were waiting for him in the company lobby. Recognizing President Li’s car, Xu Wenyi waved at Qin Yu in the driver’s seat as a greeting.
